The Royal Botanic Garden's posters and Exhibition stands
I designed this public relations pack which covers posters, banners and leaflets for all the gardens, covering Edinburgh,, Dawyck, Benmore and Logan. Each garden having it's own individual pack within the new design style.
Shown here is the A3 double sided poster for Edinburgh. The large banners show the individual garden’s flowers, seasons and work being undertaken throughout the year.
The dividing leaf design worked well to separate the categories and images.
Showing the location of the gardens was also important, so quite a few intricate maps were made up for this project.

There was a very tight budget, so the graphics just give an impression of a South American valley in the background to keep it within budget. This worked well keeping the graphics dark in the background for the text to be placed on top in white.

Napier University HIGHS Maths software logo design
Napier University asked me to design a logo for their new maths software that they were launching. The logo had to work in a smaller form too, so the horizontal version was also produced.
Flora Scotica Logo design
The Royal Botanic Gardens needed a logo that reflected the organic range of products they sell as Flora Scotica. It was to have a Scottish look to show the local produce which ranges from face creams to beer. This logo design does this in a seamless Celtic link from the flower to the crop head, covering some of the ingredients used throughout their range.
Market Cross Veterinary Clinic logo design
Market Cross Veterinary Clinic wanted a fresh modern logo to stand out from their competitors. The design covers the bulk of the companies customers by showing the ‘M’ and ‘V’ as a dog and cat but also covers the cross as a medical sign.
Midlothian Physiotherapy logo design
Midlothian Physiotherapy wanted a logo to reflect their predominately sports client base. This design works as two runners covering the dynamic sports look they were after. The green highlights the ‘M’ for Midlothian, while also emphasising the Pentland hills in the local area.
Marc Taylor Photography logo design
Marc Taylor Photography wanted a logo which would give the company a professional look and make them stand out to prospective clients.
